The process includes wiping each leaf – both upper and lower surfaces – with water or a diluted beer solution, removing dust from stomata to enhance photosynthesis. Trays are cleared of standing water, rims are wiped, dead leaves are pruned, and the topsoil is lightly loosened and cleared of debris.
